Situated in the small kitchen of a typical Copenhagen Frederiksberg apartment, Kitchen 05 gave rise to an examination into optimizing space and workflows in limited space. Designed following the Archival Studies metal furniture system the corpus is produced in 4mm and 8mm aluminium, with the countertop made from 5mm stainless steel. This project opened up the chance to examine and play with this furniture system by redefining the ways in which we inhabit the space of a kitchen.
