Parts of a Whole Showcasing the Archival x Artikel collaboration workwear collection featuring three jackets specifically designed for Archival Studies’ studio and workshop in Valby, Copenhagen, reflecting their main materials of production: wood, metal, and natural finishes. The collection includes Joiner Jacket, Machinist Jacket, and Painter Jacket. Developed through a close collaboration between the two companies, the jackets offer the same quality and craftsmanship that the savvy craftspeople imbues their creations with. In addition to the workwear jackets, a manifestation of the companies’ fabrication processes working from 2D to 3D is exhibited as a deconstructed timeline in celebration of the locally produced. The collaboration launched as an open exhibition and event during 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen. The collection is available for public commerce through the local Artikel Store, Gammel Kongevej 37.
