A small holiday cabin located in the Swiss Alps has been outfitted with an Archival Studies stainless steel kitchen and a range of custom aluminium furniture. This project saw the development of a range of custom typologies within the Archival Studies kitchen system. It allowed a playful exploration into new solutions to potentially be added to this metal inventory system. Taking a starting point with the existing aluminium furniture systems, this project additionally allowed the development of a custom wardrobe, bed and bedside tables to furnish the small holiday cabin. Translating the design language of our existing Archival Studies furniture series into new and exciting typologies has been a thrilling task. It has been a joy seeing this project come to life and to install it against the backdrop of the surrounding mountain range.
