Kinraden is a sustainable fine jewellery brand whose Copenhagen showroom we have designed in 2022.

The showroom interior consists of a range of plywood furniture pieces, all painted in deep blue linseed oil paint. Aiming to direct the focus onto the precious and unique pieces on display, the furnishings of this showroom create a rich blue backdrop that amplifies the fine jewellery’s radiance in the space.

The intention for this project was to translate the narrative and elegance of Kinraden’s brand to the space and, hence, reflecting their notion of craft and timeless jewellery in the interior.

Situated in an old building in the historical neighbourhood of Nyhavn the contemporary showroom interior forms a contrast to the classical space it exists in. A douglas fir bench, blue plywood stool and the display cases placed around the room frame the two tables at the center of the showroom. The experience table and the counter table in deep blue plywood present the opportunity to take a close look at the unique pieces exhibited. Paying tribute to the terrain of Kinraden’s Mpingo wood origin in Tanzania, all display cases present the carefully crafted jewellery on a smoothly wound landscape of dark blue wool felt.

Upon entering the showroom, the defined islands of deep blue attract ones attention to reveal the radiant fine jewellery they contain within.
